Students who “mastered” their math module pretest were given an extension in which they had to design an escape room where their classmates had to use their mathematical understanding of the following standards and their critical thinking skills to escape! The escape room had to include clues, games and activities targeted to the standards concerning place-value in the millions place (comparing, ordering and rounding numbers)! The students used Google Slides as their tool to create their escape room.
